Clinical signs
- karyotype 46XY, 2 testes
- inner genitalia: missing uterus, tubes, superior
part of vagina and epididymis,
ductus deferens, prostate
- external genitalia: female, lower part of vagina is present
Etiology, pathogenesis
In target organs the androgen receptors are missing.
Derivates of the Müllerian
ducts disappear due to MIS, which is
produced normally by the testes.
