Clinical signs
  • rare disorder
  • affects children
  • multiple bone lesions with erosions
  • affction of the neurohypophysis causes diabetes insipidus
  • sometimes exophtalmus may be seen
  • prognosis is good:
    • one half of all cases regress without treatment
    • others respond to chemotherapy
