Clinical signs
  • peak age is 50 or 60 years
  • location: often extremities, but can occur elsewhere
  • pink nodule, sometimes painful
  • capable of metastizing
Histology

Malignant tumors of smooth muscle; high cellularity, cellular polymorphism, mitotic activity; sometimes necroses.
