Cornu cutaneum
Clinical signs

The lesion is characterised by prominent hyperkeratosis. The origin varies (solar keratosis, vulgar verruca or some other hyperkeratotic process).

  • size: up to 1 cm, taller than high
  • there are literary descriptions of cutaneous horns of 10 cm in size or more

Histology

Histology is variable, but massive hyperkeratosis is present, usually wiht parakeratosis.

Epithelium is often dysplastic.
