Chronic ischemic heart disease. Old infarction with anerysm, after resection of the aneurysm, by-pass of coronary artery, implantation of stimulator, implantation of artifitial aortic valve. Cor pulmonale after repeated thrombembolization into branches of the pulmonary artery. The first part of the video shows cross sections through the heart (from the apex). The right ventricle (on the left side) is dilatated and thickened (about 7 mm). The left ventricle is normal (and appears to be smaller). The rest of the videoclip shows remnants of an organized thrombus attached to the endothelium of the pulmonary artery and its smaller branch).
